Orange has announced the release of its "new and improved" Orange "GlastoNav" application.

GlastoNav is a free mobile download that provides Glastonbury goers with what Orange says is "the ultimate interactive festival planner".

The app offers information and stage times for the full Glastonbury line-up, the ability to personalise a schedule for the weekend, an interactive map of the site, as well as festival news, advice and alerts.

"Orange GlastoNav is the best way to plan the perfect Glastonbury weekend. Sharing your schedule with friends means you will never miss meeting up for your favourite bands and GlastoNav will keep you up to date with the latest news and the chance to win side of pyramid stage passes everyday", said Spencer McHugh, brand director, Orange UK.

GlastoNav is available to download from orange.co.uk/glastonav or by texting "GLASTO" to 64446. It's free, but it should be noted it could cost up to 75p in data charges to download.

  • Looking on Orange's site (the FAQs) it still says it's for Glas '08 and last year it only cost £0.50 to download - either it's 50% bigger this year or shows how much telco's have upped their data costs. Posted by adrianaitken, United Kingdom
