Vodafone and MySpace have teamed up to create "The Music Studio" on the social networking site - an 8-month project aimed at "bands, artists and music enthusiasts".Available in the UK, Spain and Germany, the Music Studio will include remixes and DJ techniques, whilst bands will be able to put themselves forward for a monthly "Ones to Watch" competition.
As well, there'll be festival news, some events functionality for bands to share where they're gigging, and a "Vodafone Music Reporter" competition, where users will have the chance to report from gigs across Europe.
The campaign follows last year's "Vodafone Music Reporter" competition, where one winner got the chance to report a gig on MTV. MySpace has been keen to extend its music strength recently, following recent layoffs at MySpace USA. Software, Online, Audio, Websites, MySpace, Vodafone
