First 17+ iPhone app launches

19 June 2009 14:53 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

With the iPhone 3.0 OS update came the option of creating age restricted applications for the phone and the iPod touch, opening up the App Store to a possible flood of adult-themed content.

The first "17+" iPhone app has now gone live via the Apple App Store in the States, and although not particularly "adult", it does have the f-word in its title.

Called "F-MyLife Pro", from Bleaked, it's a confessional app inspired from similarly themed blogs, that lets users share embarrassing life events, ending their post with "FML".

According to Apple, it's rated 17+ for infrequent or mild alcohol, tobacco or drug use references, as well as frequent/intense profanity, crude humour mature/suggestive themes, sexual content or nudity.

If that appeals (and you are over 17 years of age) then you can download the app now, priced at $1.99 in the States.
