T-Mobile USA announces Dash 3G

Snap!

T-Mobile USA has announced it will be offering the T-Mobile "Dash 3G" in July. To all intents and purposes it seems the Dash is in fact T-Mo's own-branded version of the HTC "Snap", a recently announced BlackBerry-esque smartphone.

Offering 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and running Windows Mobile 6.1, the Dash even gets the same colour-scheme as the Snap, in a glossy-black finish with red accents, but there's no mention of the Snap's "Inner Circle" contact-related functionality.

Apparently T-Mobile's first 3G WinMo device, the Dash 3G offers "voice calling, messaging, support for personal and business e-mail, GPS for location-based services, and synchronization with Microsoft Outlook".

T-Mobile UK has no news on whether the Dash will make it over the pond, but we'll keep you posted on this, and any other Snap-related announcements.
