It seems as if TomTom's recent Apple-related announcements weren't the only partnership the company has been busy working on.The satnav firm has announced that a team up with Twentieth Century Fox is to see an official (as in voiced by Dan Castellaneta) Homer Simpson voice skin for its devices.
Apparently a licensing first, Homer's "humorous, encouraging and sometimes unusual advice" will guide you on your way.
Such Simpson-themed comedy nuggets will include, "Take the third right. We might find an ice cream truck! Mmm…ice cream".
A visit to www.tomtom.com/simpsons will let you hear samples, and the voice skin is available to download now for £7.95 or 9.95 euros. Car And GPS, TomTom, GPS, The Simpsons
