Olympus announced their new E-P1 model on Monday evening at a retro-fantastic event in Berlin, Germany. The new Micro Four Thirds camera comes with a 12.3-megapixel Live MOS sensor and a 3-inch LCD display around the back.
In terms of controls the back end looks rather like a compact camera, whilst the front benefits from an interchangeable lens mount.
Unlike the Panasonic Lumix G1 or GH1, there is no built-in flash or viewfinder, but both are available as accessories.
