Dell's Android smartphone snapped

Last we heard about Dell's smartphone plans, operators had rejected the prototypes the PC company was showing off as being too "samey", sending Dell back to the drawing board.

Next, Dell offers an official video showing one of its netbooks running Cupcake Android, although apparently only as a demonstration of what is possible.

Now, a leaked and oh-so-blurry shot of a Pre-like Dell smartphone running Android turns up on a Chinese PDA site.

It's not out of the realms of possibility...
