Link to a specific time in a Spotify track

Skip the rubbish bits

How strange. Just the other day, we were talking about how great it would be to be able to link to a specific time in a Spotify track - just as the almighty guitar solo kicks in - like you can in YouTube.

We weren't aware it was possible, but it turns out that it is. Spotify has posted on its blog that all you need to do is add a # and then the track time to the end of a URI, or %23 and then a time to the end of an html link. Check the links below for some examples.

Perfect for skipping the looooong dull intro, or trying to illustrate a particularly fantastic chorus or silly lyric to a friend. What are your favourite sections of your favourite songs? Share in the comments.
