O2 Joggler gets messaging

50 free texts a month

12 June 2009 12:17 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

O2 has announced it has gone live with messaging on its O2 Joggler family organiser device.

Those that have a Joggler may have already noticed that the messaging application went live over the last couple of days.

The app lets owners of the digital frame-esque device send up to 50 text messages a month for free to any network from the O2 Joggler.

In addition, text messages can be sent to the device too. So, suggests O2, "if you're coming home late from work you can let the whole family know with a pop up message on the O2 Joggler".

Future plans for the Joggler include the addition of internet radio, due to go live in the next couple of months.
