Sharp launches BD-HP22H Blu-ray player in UK

Sharp has announced the UK availability of its new Blu-ray player, the BD-HP22H.
Offering full high definition and 1080p technology, the BD-HP22H gets x.v. colour tech, 24Hz video output and 7.1 surround sound with the integrated DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD.
Complete with Profile 2.0, or BD-Live, there's Blu-ray disc-dependent access to additional content and features via t'internet.
In a piano black finish, the player also support Sharp's AQUOS LINK hook-up and claims to use just 0.7 Watts of power in standby mode.
The BD-HP22H will be available on the high street this month for £199.99.
