Carphone nabs Samsung Tocco Lite in pink

Exclusive aimed at younger, female buyers

The Carphone Warehouse will be offering the Samsung Tocco Lite exclusively in pink. The retailer has announced the pink model is available now, and sells for £99.95.

Seemingly popular with the yoof audience, that perhaps can't afford a higher-end Tocco Ultra Edition, Samsung is hoping the Lite model will sell well - its original Tocco was the best selling contract handset in 2008.

The Tocco Lite offers a touchscreen, instant access to social networking sites, a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and video capture, FM radio and an MP3 player with Samsung's DNSe 2.0 tech.

"[We] feel that the exclusive pink colour and the social media features make this handset perfect for our younger, female buyers", said Andrew Harrison, UK CEO, The Carphone Warehouse.
