iPhone 3G S goes on pre-order

"Guaranteed June 18th despatch"

While The Carphone Warehouse's pre-order page appears to be taking its sweet time to go live, Mobiles.co.uk, has beaten the retailer to be the first to offer pre-order.

"Beaten" is a slightly strong word, considering that Mobiles.co.uk is a subsidiary of Carphone Warehouse, but business is business and it seems Mobiles.co.uk might be getting a fair bit over the next day or so.

There's obviously no difference in the contract price, duration or terms, but the online shop is promising "guaranteed June 18th despatch".

In the meantime, a Carphone Warehouse spokesperson has told Pocket-lint it hopes to have its pre-order page live by the end of the day.
