iPhone 3G S goes on pre-order

• I've just called CPW, O2 and Apple. Salespeople from all three companies are unable to confirm that there will, in fact, be a pre-ordering facility before June 19th. As yet, all confirm that there is no pre-ordering facility.
  
  I suspect that CPW will offer pre-orders in the same vein as Mobiles.co.uk - simply offer to ship a phone on the date and get the contracts agreed in advance. I don't see any PAYG pre-orders available on Mobiles.co.uk... Posted by Mike Wilson, England
• Just placed an order on Mobiles.co.uk - cant wait for the 19th June to arrive! There were rumours that the display was OLED, but can't find this in the spec.??This hasnt stopped me ordering but would have been the cherry on the cake :) Posted by Roger Crittenden, UK

  The screen isn't OLED, Roger. According to Apple's spec list it's a 3.5-inch multi-touch display with a 480 by 320-pixel resolution at 163 ppi with a "fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating" - the last bit that the iPhone 3G does not have. Posted by elliott, United Kingdom

• Just pre-ordered mine, I phoned up earlier and they told me that orders are processed in the order their placed and I want to be rocking the 3GS when all my mates r on the 3g lol.
