The new iPhone operating system that'll be available on 17 June has leaked early to torrent sites. The build, labelled 7a341 can be installed on any iPhone. We don't really recommend you give this a shot, as it's only a week until the update is out anyway and we aren't able to verify the authenticity of this file in-house. It's very much at your own risk.
If you do give it a go, make sure you've got a file called "iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw" that's 230.1MB. Then synchronize your iPhone, so that you have a backup you can restore from if something goes wrong.
To install it, hold down alt (Mac) or shift (PC) and click the restore button in iTunes. Select the image file above, and off it goes. It'll take about half an hour to install.
If you're feeling brave, and you do try the leaked build, then let us know how you got on in the comments below.
