3 offers 5GB mobile broadband on 1-month contract

For £15

3 is claiming to offer Britain's "most flexible and affordable" mobile broadband contract with a 1 month commitment.

3's "broadband 5GB, 1 month" provides customers with a 3 mobile broadband SIM and an allowance for 5GB of data for £15 a month to use with their existing 3 dongle.

The operator says 5GB is enough to send 5000 emails or for about 50 hours of web surfing.

After the first month is up, consumers can cancel by giving a month's notice, so arguably it's a 2-month commitment.

For those that don't have their own modem, 3 is flogging the Huawei MF627, E156g and E1550 for a one-off cost of £19.99.
