In a scene straight out of "Jurassic Park", Dinosaur robot Pleo has been brought back from extinction after the company behind it, Ugobe, filed for bankruptcy.

Former manufacturer Jetta acquired the intellectual property rights and other assets in the bankruptcy auction and has announced that it'll immediately begin producing the Robo-dino again.

It'll also be producing replacement batteries and chargers. Jetta US liason Steve Ohler said: "All the equipment needed to produce Pleos and accessories (is) all still intact and ready to go".
