Apple confirms iPhone 3.0 release date

But not all features coming to all users

Apple confirms iPhone 3.0 release date. Phones, iPhone, WWDC09, Apple, Software, Operating Systems 0

8 June 2009 19:52 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Apple has confirmed that the new iPhone 3.0 operating system will be available for iPhone 3G and iPhone users from 17 June.

The new OS update will be free to all users, however as previously revealed, it will cost £5.99 in the UK and $9.99 in the US for iPod touch customers.

First announced in March, customers who download the new OS will gain a number of new features bringing the phone in line with competing brands on the market from Palm to BlackBerry.

However not all the new features will be available to all users, AT&T in the US won't be offering MMS messaging in the US until later in the summer, while only 22 of the 42 operators currently offering the Apple handset will be offering the tethering service that allows users to connect a laptop to the iPhone to surf from their computer rather than on the phone.

  • Could anyone help explain to me why AT&T will not be offering MMS on the iPhone until later in the summer whenever I could get MMS messages on my old Blackjack 2 now?

    Maybe I'm just missing something.

  • AT&T is really screwing people with not allowing the MMS until late summer what a bunch of shit Posted by Sean Bruno, united states
  • Ya that's one of the main reason i want this update. Is there a reason why they are waiting? Posted by cameron, US
  • There's an app for virtually anything and everything, but they can't come up with an app to send MMS text messages?

    What is up with Apple?

  • There was an iphone 3g app realeased ages ago in the UK which allowed you to send MMS messages. You had to pay quite alot to send them however you could receive as many as you wanted for free. Posted by dylan, united kingdom
  • I believe that it is safe to say that AT&T needs time to work on a pricing structure for the MMS and that Apple was bound to some agreement claus with AT&T not to allow a MMS app in the states. AT&T does not want to miss out on charging more while they still are the only approved provider for the iPhone. By far the single biggest aspect that has hindered the advancement of the iPhone series is AT&T. I look forward to the day when the number of providers is at least the same as the number of colors the iPhone has available. Posted by MBerger, USA
  • I already pay for unlimited text and MMS for my family through AT&T, BUT I can't use the feature because I have an iPhone. This is total BS! I too read about the new updates and that MMS would be available and went ahead an purchased an iPhone and awaited the update. Now I find out they have lied to me. WTF! Posted by Kierstin, United States
  • It's lovely how they waited until NOW, one week before the release date, to tell us that- after several months of anticipation- that MMS (which is one of the most anticipated parts of the update) won't be available until later this summer? Who do they think they are? Posted by Ryan, United States
  • i was told when i got my iphone 3g two months ago the app for sending MMS was coming up in the next month.. now i find the update is coming, but wont include the one feature that made me skeptical about buying the phone... thnx apple. the reason they have not made a solution for MMS is because they havn't figured how to profit 100fold from what we would pay for the feature... Posted by CoRbIn, USA
  • Are you kidding me? AT&T has the technology and won't implement it. Garbage. They hit me $30 a month for my daughter to do with here new LG what she was doing with her old Samsung before it got stolen. Come on AT&T open the pipe up!

  • Everything to OS 3.0 is offer can be done already by jailbreaking your iphone (not unlocking but jailbreaking). Got the ipone 3g over 6 months ago and jailbroke it for free and have landscape text and real working MMS. And the cut and paste feature i was doing ten minutes after jailbreaking. what is the hype? Posted by John Clark, USA
  • I'm not going to defend AT&T in general, but the complaint that they are doing something "wrong" in delaying the MMS until later this summer is off base. When the update was unveiled in March, we were told it would be released "sometime this summer". And most of the guesses I read were that it would not be released until at least July. So I'm not sure they are "late" with MMS. More like they are "early" with the rest of it. And I'd rather get most of the package now rather than have them hold it up until the MMS was ready. Posted by Graybeard, US
  • Not everyone knows how to Jailbreak thier phone. Also, the MMS feature doesn't even work after the jailbreak. It is lousy. AT&T needs to step up and allow MMS period. Don't we already pay enough for the text packages? Why should they be putting together new packages to charge us even more because we are sending pictures? It's such BS! • i think they are holding back mms because its going to cost extra...

  • I don't know, personally I have a really hard time trusting that MMS will even be worth it. AT&T charges $5 - $20 a month extra right now for SMS, which is ridiculous scam. Who knows what rate they will charge for MMS? I mean, that was a standard feature years ago, but now that the cost of a text message has shot up 1000%, who knows what they can gouge customers for a picture message? Posted by MA, USA
  • I think att is a bit over the barrel with the iphone being its primary income. If you will consider the iphone on sprint. we would be gone! out the door for a 99 a month everything plan. all the other networks have dropped there prices and pimped up there game...so now they do not have a choice. Or do they? considering that we are going to go buck wild with the mms....that frankly i believe we have been paying for the upgrade for months with that rediculouly overpriced 30 dollar data plan per iphone.... we should finally get our money back. Also Apple did release the 8g at 99 bucks...so there is going to be something with att real soon --does anyone know when there exclusive contract expires, that is the real question?

    Posted by texasbutter, usa
  • Damn is they gonna charge extra i might as well get another phone or switch company.. Im already payin ova $100 bucks a month, that would be ridiculous if they charge extra. I was payin less than $100 with my blackjack with everythin include even mms.. This gonna be a frustrating situation bc i was finally happy about the 3.0 update. I guess we gonna have to wait n see. Posted by New York, USA
  • AT&T is so full of garbage. They better just be lucky they landed the Apple iPhone contract. Their customer service SUCKS and they have no sense of coordination with their products. If it wasn't that I love this iPhone I would take this contract and have them shove it! Posted by Luke, USA
  • From what I can tell, this update will not involve the MMS right away and if you have the iPhone 3G, you will not be able to get the built in video camera with editing, voice control, and compass. This is BS because in the video they had on apple.com, they said that the iPhone 3G would be getting all the features. Not only the new iPhone 3G S would be getting these. What has everyone else heard about this? Posted by Petey, USA
  • some people (such as myself) dont want to jailbreak their iPhone because they purchased a protection plan and dont want to void it by jailbreaking the phone. and really, the end of the summer is not that long to wait when you have everything else. It's not that big of a deal.

However hopefully this won't affect my bill to much to send MMS msgs :(

  • Total BS, as soon as AT&T's contract with Apple is up and Verizon has access to the iPhone, I'm switching back. AT&T only has my business because of the iPhone, crappiest service coverage and lack of MMS have just pissed me off. Posted by I H8 ATT, USA
  • I agree with 'I H8 ATT'.
I was a Verizon customer for 14 years (started back when they were Ameritech), and the only reason I switched was because my contract was up with VZW, and I was tired of the Windows Mobile platform. The iPhone is great, but Apple needs an equally great carrier that can immiediately support the new features of the phone, prior to the feature release, so those feature can hit the ground running...

Between the spotty 3G coverage, and If AT&T charges for MMS (especially since I pay for unlimited SMS), I'm gone.
    Posted by elmillero, USA
  • If only Sprint or VZW could get the iphone, I would be gone in a second... ATT sucks. How can they not be able to support software for their biggest money-making product... and if they can and they want us to pay more for it when Im already paying an extra 50 something bucks a month for sms and my data package... Screw that BS. Lets see how many customers ATT loses when another company gets the right to support and sell the iphone... Posted by fed up wit att, USA
  • Cheese Whiz! - I don't have MMS now... and you all sound like you have PMS
It's like, uh.. why'd you buy an IPHONE in the first place if THAT (MMS) was what you were seeking so desperately?!! - Meanwhile, I've enjoyed my Iphone 3G from day one.. No regrets and the provider has treated me quite right..

  • Most providers screw theirs clients. I had a pack that gave me 500mega of 3G data a month but the bills kept on coming. I decided to talk to the provider and they informed that once you connect to 3G data they will automatically debit 20Mega whether its used or not in other words they will always subtract 20Megas a day or multiples of 20mega (ie 20 then 40 then 60) even if you dont use it and they may charge you more depending on how many times a day you connect to 3G data
    they are called Vodafone Portugal

  • NEWS FLASH PEOPLE:

Apple has NO interest in developing a non-GSM iPhone (inside source at Apple has confirmed). That being said... YOU WILL NEVER SEE AN IPHONE ON VERIZON OR SPRINT... Because they use CDMA technology and that would require Apple to develop and maintain a second set of radio chipsets and baseband code. Apple is all ready planning on dropping support for older PowerPC based processors in their next computer OS due to double coding overhead and the stability issues it presents. What in the heck makes any of you think they would waste $$$$$$$ maintaining 2 completely different radios! IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Another industry example of this would be Verizon is fighting Vodafone right now, because Vodafone wants Verizon to abandon CDMA and move to GSM so Vodafone will only have to maintain 1 technology themselves. The only good side of Vodafone winning that argument would be that the chances of seeing a Vodafone/Verizon iPhone would be MUCH better if Verizon switched to GSM (which doesn't make sense since Verizon as dumped billions into their CDMA network, and would have to abandon all that investment).

As far as MMS goes, the reason for AT&T holding off is due to server side protocols being applied to thousands of cell sites across the US, protocols which were not 100% agreed to until just a few weeks ago. The iPhone MMS protocols, much like the VisualVoice Mail feature, ARE NOT the same as protocols and services currently available for other phones on their network. Apple has put a lot of pressure on AT&T to revamp their network to Apple's benifit, which is a good thing for future use, but it costs money. And we all know AT&T is not going to just eat the cost, they WILL find a way to turn a profit on the upgrades.

So quit acting so surprised that we have to wait for MMS and are probably going to get charged up the @$$ for using it. At least they aren't going after current subscribers and raping them for features they are not going to use. If you don't want to pay for the service then... don't use it. If you think you can get a better deal with another provider, then shut the hell up and leave AT&T, send them a message the only way you really can.

  • I believe that if this phone is so revolutionary...and so high tech...they can't put picture messaging and a video camera...thats horrible. I believe when the sidekick touch comes out it will blow the iphone out the water. The new sidekick already has 3G internet and a video camera. Plus you have your own email account and you can purchase and download ringers. Apple needs to step there game up or they will be losing customers. Posted by Jonathan Prince, usa
  • Well here's a few things, I have problems with AT&T first of all they still haven't gotten their network up to snuff to handle the iphone and it's network features. Thus we don't have mms, and probably won't have tethering for a bit.
Now as to all of those who want verizon to get the iphone, the biggest problem isn't apple, it's Verizon, Any verizon phone has to be "locked/Secured" so that only Verizon apps can talk to the GPS, and do MMS with their verizon app. (Instant messaging ie, AIM, etc.. is considered a MMS communication last time I dealt with Verizon and they'll charge ya for it. It drives me nuts that every phone I've had with Verizon has been locked down and blocks out most apps that I've tried to use with it. They'd also put their own tethering software in which most of the time won't work or will be a pain to setup. Yes their service is pretty good if you ignore the problem that you'll be dealing with a dumbed down phone. I have a feeling that Verizon will get what I call the IPhone DD (Dumbed Down) where it'll allow you to do some apps on their own "verizon iphone store" but not all that you can do with a non-verizon phone.
Yes Apple needs to step up their game, but so do a lot of these guys, Verizon is also not ready for the Iphone. Granted they are bigger then AT&T but they are still building the infrastructure needed to handle most of their users going to the IPhone or a device that can handle 10mb, (and I've heard they could go up to 100mb) with the latest networks (AT&T is doing the same but is already out there with people on their network )
A lot of this is just what I've seen online, and where I think these guys are heading.

  • i work for AT&T and the reason why MMS isnt coming out until late summer is because of APPLE. because they dont tell us anything thats going on with their products (we find out at the same time as everyone else), we now have to catch up with our systems to make MMS compatible with the iphone. If apple would have told us ahead of time, MMS would be available on 6/17. Posted by daylo, USOFA

  • Sidekicks are GAY. If I wanted to cram a brick in my pocket, or beat someone with it, then sure, a Sidekick would be fine. I happen to like the iPhone's fit and finish. WinMobile devices need to be reset constantly to remain some-what stable, Palm devices lack in features and when I got a chance to test drive the Pre, it crashed 3 minuets out of the box! CrackBerrys are better suited for business use and with the exception of the Storm, their lack of touch screen interface and heavy reliance on Java based crapware are probably the biggest turn off for that brand in general. The "other" category that contains want-to-be feature rich devices like the Sidekick are trendy, but ultimately not worth the hassle since software, accessories and user forums are typically scarce.

I agree with Jeff, there is NO WAY that the iPhone will be available on Verizon or Sprint unless they change cellular technologies to match 90% of the rest of the world (they use CDMA, the rest of us use GSM). So all you losers out there dreaming of how "cool" it would be to see an iPhone on Verizon or Sprint... keep dreaming, BECAUSE IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

  • Verizon and Apple have been in talks for over 6 months now.. Ture some Iphone features won't work on CDMA... However Verizon is going to be releasing there 4G LTE network coast to coast pretty soon and that is looking good to Apple. Apple is also SUPPOSEDLY looking to release a version of the iphone with slightly less functions and some sort of wifi home phone for the verizon network this summer. Posted by Phone junkie, USA
  • I myself do not care to be with Verizon. I like AT&T as well as any other carrier. I have had them all over the years. I will be thankful for what ever Apple offers because the iphone is a far better platform than any others on the market. I bought my girlfriend a Blackberry Storm soon after they became available since she is with Verizon. The first one crashed and was not repairable so it was sent in and a new one was given to her. The second one is barely usable because it seems every time it is needed it is going through its rebooting process. Give me a stable, usable phone without all of the other B.S. that you get with a win based system and i am happy. Come on guys we know there will always be some sort of glitches or problems with anything we get. All we have to do is find one we can live with!!! Posted by johnny, USA
  • Get over it guys, the truth is that while they do charge a lot, AT&T and Apple are no worse than any other phone company or cell phone carrier. Unlimited text and mms are ridiculously expensive no matter which carrier you look at, just because they're iPhones doesn't mean they are going to completely restructure the market in the consumer's favor. I commend Apple for creating a phone that has advanced features, a beautiful interface, and a platform stable enough not to crash beyond repair every few months. Would any of you rather have some piece of garbage feature-focused phone from VZW with a horrific interface and lackluster reliability than your iPhone? No, the iPhone isn't perfect, nor is Apple, but its the best phone on the market to date and they're still making advances faster than any other manufacturer.

And for those who are ripping on the iPhone because they don't have one and are jealous, please spend your time elsewhere where somebody wants to listen.

Don't you just send photo's via email?
    Posted by AlexE, UK
  • This is BS. AT&T are taking advantage of having control of the Iphone. I agree with all the points above, 3G phones should recieve video and MMS and AT&T should get thier finger out there arse to support it on time. If AT&T and Apple have a partnership, then it seems like they need to go to counselling together because they can't communicate and agree. Damn man, I even have a 3G phone in a city population of 300,000 and we DONT even have a 3G signal here. AT&T you are a worthless piece of crap company. The only reason Apple chose to go with AT&T is because Verizons terms were too structured for Apple and Apple fet they could not Rape everyone through Verizon. So now we are stuck with Dumb and Dumbers version of two rapists. Mr Jeff AT&T your full of crap excuses I expect to hear from an incompetent worthless 10 year old. We don't give two hoots about your excuses.....

  • MMS messages could overload their already filled networks. They were just lagging behind on updating their cell towers as they have to do it one by one supposedly. Also tethering in the US wont happen till later because AT&T will have an additional fee to be added for it. Posted by EvO, www.playthismag.wordpress.com

  • iPhones are much more prevalent than any other photo enabled phone on AT&T. Also, iPhone users will do much more MMS'ing then most other users. Therefore expenses will skyrocket for AT&T upon offering MMS for iPhone. That's what's causing the delays... the higher prices etc... Posted by BobbyVance, USA
  • Thats why as a corperate user you need to just suck it up and go windows mobile
I mean seriously its the backbone of almost every network in the world

  • I actually worked for att (regrettably) up until a little while ago, and the reason that they are not allowing mms until late in the summer is that their system was painstakingly changed for the iphone to specifically not allow mms based on apple request, and now the process of changing the infrastructure's computers to allow them is being a pain and causeing problems all over the place. Posted by Rickchard, USA
  • at&t to charge $ 10 dollars more on the $20 dolalr unlimited making it 30 for txt and 30 for data 60 bux thats not bad at all! wohoooo only 30 dollars for 1,500 mms 25 cents each extra after 1,500 messages and it will be good Posted by john, usa
  • I don't think anyone here understands anything they have said about the MMS feature. There has NEVER been any statement released that says AT&T will charge more for MMS, just that the feature isn't yet available. MMS is included in all AT&T messaging packages the same as standard SMS text on every device that AT&T carries. All iPhone packages (text, data, etc) are the same price as any other pda or blackberry. Why would MMS be any different?
Making the network compatible with the new iPhone MMS protocols and building the code for the billing system (even if it's included, this is required) are things that have to be done before the feature works. This is what is holding up the feature, not some new pricing structure.
So before you go around sounding like idiots yelling about supposed extra charges and conspiracies that you know nothing about, just sit back, enjoy the new 3.0 features, and wait for MMS which i'm willing to bet is included in whatever SMS package you already have.

  • To let you all know why MMS isn't being released until late summer...
I work for AT&T tech support so we've had a few briefings on this..

There's a system that has the backend network settings for each line..which control the MMS settings on the network which allow it to be blocked or to go through. It will take a couple months to update the system to allow for it to work in accordance with the iPhone data plan and the iPhone messaging settings..

basically while it can be done sooner they don't want to announce it just yet until ALL the iPhone lines have been updated in the backend system to prevent a huge spike in call volume to our centers..but it will most likely be released much sooner than later summer.

I think it sucks too as they had months of planning ahead since the announcement of 3.0 beta..but hey issues on the system may have occured so i dont know.
    Posted by Dan, USA
  • Also... just to let everyone know.. its not gonna cost extra to use MMS. All of the SMS packages already include MMS as part of the messaging bundle..

It will be 30 cents pay per use however if you do not have a package, same as with any other phone. Just noticed a lot of the rants were assuming there'd be an additional cost.

"According to AT&T’s latest PDF FAQ, they’ll offer MMS messages free with a texting plan. There had been concern that AT&T would charge exorbitant rates for the (antiquated?) service."

    And that's from June 15th.

Google that shit its true... 2nd WTF is wrong with you people, talk to a att rep on the phone or in a store MMS will not cost anymore than you are paying now Do you think because you send from an Iphone that the picture cost more to send than if you send it from a Razor? Nope it does not. Lastly CDMA technology sucks ass its slow and att has more coverage in the us than Verizon and guess what GSM technology is the least used in the country. Verizon is the largest CDMA provider SPRINT is not CDMA it is 1900mhz PCS totaly different and then you have smaller companies around the country with CDMA, Alltel still operates in 48% of the US under Alltel, Verizon did not buy it all mostly the part that Alltel purchased form US Cellular a few years back. the Iphone is by far the most complex mobile phone available, its just like a good computer it has its ups and downs we upgrade, update and move on........ • Folks - I'm no AT&T apologist; I'm as frustrated as all of you. But seriously, chill out a bit. Apple announced that MMS wouldn't be immediately available for US customers at the same time they announced the 3.0 OS. This is not news; it is not a conspiracy! AT&T won't say the reasons why, so I suppose it's anyone's guess. But did you ever stop to consider the impact on their network? As is, AT&T's miserable network continues to fail under the load of all the iPhones it is already supporting. Dropped calls sound familiar? Delayed text messages? Poor reception even in places like Silicon Valley? It's not secret; AT&T has been the love/hate aspect of the iPhone for two years now; we all know about it's network shortcomings. But networks don't just scale automatically: AT&T has to adapt their network to the massive adoption of extremely data-heavy iPhones. Even today, according to comScore, iPhone users use the data features of their phones between 2 and 4 times as much as other smartphone users. Add in MMS and tethering data transfer, and maybe it might actually overload the network.

Again, I'm no apologist for AT&T and I don't work for them (thank God; I think I'd rather be unemployed in this economy than work for them!) But give em some break for at least trying to make sure they can deliver the service reliably before they deliver it at all.

  • Bon-chod that Apple and their iPhone hype, those bhoses shouldn't have posted the release date because now everybody's lodos are up and waiting for that agar! It's 11am EST and nothing yet! Posted by Chod iPhone, Chodiyaville
  • why don't you just jailbreak your iphone and get swirly MMS>? Then you can quit complaining and send as many MMS as you want. rtards Posted by ijailbreak, usa - best country ever
  • I used to work for AT&T and I'm surprised that they not behind the ball on this.. there contract ends rather soon with Apple(2010) so I cant imagine them wanting to screw up. when it comes to pricing for the MMS app I don't think that they could honestly charge people per picture sent, it will probably be an expensive app that everyone will pay for and that will be it.. if you look into it like jail breaking the iphone and using the MMs app that they have its only 1299 us dollars and it works okay but who wants to do that when you can have the real deal. So instead of bitching about it. use what you got and lets wait on AT&T to come through.. seeings that's all we can do right now Posted by the-rehak, USA, Florida
  • The AUSTRALIA iPHONE 3.0 shows JUNE 18 - Is it Midnight there yet? Posted by Royce, United States
  • You can guess that the software will be released sometime just after noon NY time. The reason? Well, if you check out the India website, it says iPhone 3.0 comes June 17. But Singapore/Hong Kong are saying June 18. Midnight in Singapore is noon in NYC, so it must come online AFTER that point. Midnight in Mumbai is 2.30pm in NYC, so it must come online BEFORE that point. Therefore, it will be available sometime in the next five hours or so.

  • ok so its just past noon in CT and still no update.. i havent done anything at work cuz i have been too busy waiting on apple.... that always seems to be the case... you cant even talk to the "genius bar" without an appointment.... Posted by Anthony, United States
  • I just want to say; to all you people are typing in caps, telling AT&T to suck it because they can't add MMS to the start, shut up. There is no button they can click that says "Add MMS" it does not work that way. Recoding for MMS on AT&Ts' servers require a lot of code that most of you probably couldn't even think of. Give the guy's a break, let them do their job, you will be able to see picture dirty pictures of your girlfriend (if you have a girlfriend, why do you want to see pictures? Why not go see the real thing?), or stupid pictures that one of your drunk friends will send you. Posted by TXREV, US
  • Some people say "a picture is worth a thousand words", to AT&T a picture is worth a thousand dollars.
For sure AT&T will charge extra for MMS. I guess I dont blame them, almost everyone on this forum is willing to pay. Supply and demand.

  • I don't know why people complain so bad. If you aren't satisfied with the product you bought, why did you buy it. WHY because it was iphone, and everyone had it so you wanted it. Then you screwed your self, because I know that i was aware of the extra charges on the iphone. the 20 dollar charge for unlimited texting (I knew I couldn't do MMS) and the 30 dollar charge for data plan.

So next time you buy something read the contract and specification of what you are buying and don't complain.

Most people's complaints are well founded. They aren't complaining because they didn't understand what they were buying. They're complaining because there is no free market with the iPhone. As you know, AT&T is the only provider for this amazing phone thus eliminating all the competition. If the iPhone was available on multiple carriers, most of the 3.0 update would've been forced out 1-2 years ago. They aren't releasing new technology. They're simply trying to catch up with 5 year old smartphones. Cut, copy and paste along with tethering shouldn't take 2 years to develop. That being said, I somewhat agree with you because this is what I've come to expect from Apple. They make a great product but cripple it to the point where people complain.

  • technically when you read description of the unlimited data plan that you have to purchase with the iPhone for $30 it states that MMS and emails are part of the data plan.. so to charge extra for just MMS would infringe on the plan and they would be charging you twice.. if you ask me that sounds like a nice lawsuit if someone would read these things.. so in my opinion are they going to charge for MMS, as nice as it sounds for at&t I don't think they will.. it's already included.. they just have to allow the phone to do it.. • Stop complainin if the iPhone was on another carrier say verizon youd have to pay for everything separate. MMS,SMS,teathering, voice special email plans. My dad works for verizon business and that one of the reasons that apple and verizon couldnt come to terms on the original iPhone. Hell almost all verizon and sprint phone have stereo bluetooth but most you can only send files threw there appropriate service. Its always been a given the more you spend the more the network gets better. ATT is going to have one of the fastest 3G networks to support the iPhone which will be 7.5 Mbps which only is a lil behind sprint. All that money your bitching about paying went for you to get one of the fastest 3G networks around.Verzion Is the most expensive carrier to have but has the best coverage, ATT is second most expensive and coverage is second best and so on and so forth so stop bitching about pricing or coverage if thats what you want get a metro phone and stop complaining Posted by SMS, United States

  • i really should of kept my omnia i could do everything the iphone does plus more including picture message and video... never thought a phone would have to wait for copy and paste plus not everyone can jailbreak there iphones if it was that easy nobody would be complaining plus people dont wanna void their warrenty. i was told the iphone would be updated with picture and video when the update was released in the summer and that is what made me want the phone good trick! unless this phone pulls some sweet tricks before my contract is up you'll definately see my iphone on craigslist and crawling back to verizon Posted by boosted, USA
