Spotify adds Facebook and Delicious sharing

Spotify adds Facebook and Delicious sharing

8 June 2009 14:56 GMT / By Duncan Geere

Music streaming service Spotify has issued a small update to its client that will enable users to share music more easily.

Previously, which right-clicking a track, album, artist or playlist, the user would get an HTML link to share. Now, however the service has enabled a one-click solution to share to Facebook or Delicious.

Unfortunately none of data about the shared item, or album artwork, comes up, so you'll have to input that manually, but it's still an elegant solution for those who aren't comfortable sharing HTML links.

The team has also squished a few bugs and stopped the banner adverts from stealing focus. Your client should automatically update, but if it doesn't then uninstall it and reinstall from the Spotify website.
