Project Natal-style body tracking features in new fit game
4 June 2009 12:21 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott
Ubisoft has revealed what can now be described as a rival to Microsoft's Project "your-body-is-the-controller" Natal with a new fitness game that tracks body movement.
Although only for one title so far, the "Your Shape" game, comparisons between Ubisoft's camera-based system and Xbox's concept control method will be inevitable.
"The new camera for the Wii and our 'Body Tracking' technology means 'Your Shape' will offer an experience that is a breakthrough in gaming, as well as in the fitness category", said Yves Guillemot, CEO, Ubisoft.
