Eton is celebrating 50 years of space exploration and 40 years since Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong landed on the Moon with a special edition radio.

The New Eton G6 Buzz Aldrin Aviator Radio is described as a "space aged, pocket sized, world band radio for the traveller, radio or aircraft enthusiast".

Commemorating the 20 July 1969 landing, the AM/FM/Aircraft band, shortwave radio gets three types of automatic scan tuning, a world time zone clock, and sleep timer and three alarm settings.

In addition there's a 3.5mm headphone output, LCD display and the radio - that can run on two AA batteries - also comes with an AC adaptor.

The astronaut-themed radio is available now for a recommended price of £89.95, with more info to be found at www.etoncorp.co.uk.
