Nokia N97 goes on pre-order at Phones4U

Available from free on £40, 24-month Orange contract

Nokia's new flagship phone, the N97, has been confirmed for launch offered as a SIM-free handset only option direct from Nokia from the 19 June, and now Phones4U has a pre-order system set up too.

If you want to get the new touchscreen mobile for free, rather than the £500 Nokia is charging, you can opt for a £40 per month, 24-month contract from Orange.

This will see the N97 - with its 5-megapixel camera, built-in Ovi Store and 32GB of on-board memory - delivered to you on 26 June.

Other Orange options include a £45 per month, 18-month contract that also gets you the phone free, or a £35 per month, 18-month contract that means you'd have to fork out £99.95 for the handset.

Expect more contracts and price plans from other operators to be detailed soon - we will keep you posted.
