LG has announced its second series of digital Freeview+ DVD recorders with built-in disk drive, starting with the RHT497H.
The new product can receive 40 freeview channels, pause and review live TV and contains a 160GB hard drive, which will save up to 477 hours of recording time. There's also upscaling to 1080p via HDMI.
Lastly, a USB port is helpfully provided and the included DivX support will mean that any records that you have "archived" on your home PC will be playable.
The RHT497H comes in Black and Silver, and costs in the region of £300. It's available now.
