Solar Technology has launched the new FreeLoader Pro "professional" portable solar charger.The Pro now comes with a new power cradle, the "CamCaddy", that will let users charge digital compact cameras, DSLRs and video camera batteries.
The FreeLoader Pro is described as a "super powered" version of the FreeLoader, and can charge mobiles and smartphones (including the iPhone and Blackberry), mobile gaming consoles, MP3 players, satnavs, ebook readers, etc.
It features a "multi voltage switch" that lets users change to 9.5V to charge higher voltage devices such as DVD players and MP4 players.
Weighing 174 grams, and with a tough aluminium casing, the new FreeLoader Pro is supplied as standard with ten adaptors, a USB charging cable and a soft carry pouch.
