First person in line for the Pre spotted

The first person queuing for the Palm Pre has been spotted in the States, nabbing his place in line on Monday - ahead of the device's Saturday launch.

The anonymous linesitter said “I hear there is only going to be four phones at each spot, and I’m getting mine".

The new handset will be available nationwide in Sprint stores, as well as Best Buy, Radio Shack, select Wal-Mart stores and online at Sprint.com.

Pricing for the phone has been revealed at $199.99 with a 2-year service agreement on "Everything Data" plans and after a $100 mail-in rebate.
