Philips Cinema 21:9 TV to cost £4500

We've brought you news, video and images previously of Philips' new Cinema 21:9 super widescreen television, but can now reveal the final UK pricing.

Although when announced in the UK we reported that pricing would be around the £3500 mark, it seems film-lovers can add another grand onto that price tag.

The £3500 was based around the television's 4000 euro quoted RRP, but it's now been revealed that the UK will see a slightly different launch package, including a 5-year warranty.

The Cinema 21:9 TV will go on sale on 18 June 2009 with an introductory offer that includes a "smart levelling" bracket for what's said to be hassle-free wall mounting and easy adjustment "for an all in estimated street selling price of £4500".

An optional swivel stand will also be available with an estimated street selling price of £179.
