The BBC has launched a dedicated channel on YouTube under the name BBC Earth, which is the BBC Worldwide's new international brand for all the BBC's natural history content.

The BBC Earth channel will initially launch with 50 clips including, for the first time on YouTube, the Emmy and BAFTA award-winning Blue Planet.

The Beeb says new clips will continue to be added every week, with new content now including clips from Life of Mammals, Turtles Guide to the Pacific and Cheetahs - Fast Track to Freedom

Neil Nightingale, head of BBC's natural history unit, says: "I'm delighted that the BBC Earth channel on You Tube will now allow people all round the world to enjoy some of the very best of the great content from the BBC Natural History Unit online".
