Nokia may have announced that it is bring the Nokia 6700 to market early, but that hasn't stopped the Finnish mobile phone maker signing a deal with Vodafone for an operator exclusive. The Nokia 6730 classic, as it will be known, will also start shipping in June and be available exclusively on Vodafone.
Although Vodafone is being coy on what, if any differences there will be over the standard unbranded version from Nokia, we do know that the 6730 will come with a 3.2-megapixel camera rather than 5 megapixel offering.
The device utilises S60 software which means customers can easily download their choice of additional applications from the web or presumably Nokia's Ovi Store.
The handset will of course come with "turn by turn" satnav software, mobile internet, the Vodafone Music Client and personal and business email access and be available in black or white.
The unbranded Nokia 6700 is available from June 19 from Nokia for £220. According to Nokia the Vodafone exclusive handset will be available at the later date; 26 June. Phones, Mobile phones, Nokia, Vodafone
