Pentax has announced a new "mid-range" DLSR camera and Pocket-lint was on hand, as usual, to grab a hands-on gallery for you to see what's what, plus pictures actually taken with the camera.The new 14.6 megapixel resolution offering will, Pentax confirmed sit somewhere above the Nikon D5000 and the Canon 500D and slightly below the Nikon D300 and Canon 50D.
The camera is due out shortly.
