Previously only available pre-loaded on phones

TomTom has announced that its Navigator 7 software is now available to buy on microSD card. Previously, it was only to be found pre-loaded on certain HTC handsets.

The update brings Map Share technology, improved address input, a new traffic interface and extra safety features. It'll also be possible to personalize it with new voices and places of interest.

Navigator 7 is compatible with many HTC phones, but to be sure you might want to have a look at the compatibility wizard on the TomTom website.

The product ships with a full map of Western Europe covering 22 countries, and costs £90.
