USB classic joystick for PC gamers announced

Authentic 'troller for retro games

28 May 2009 11:30 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Online retailer Thumbs Up is heralding a return to old school style video gaming with the launch of a USB classic joystick.

Styled on classic home arcade system's joystick (it's unlicensed, so we'll name no names), the retro controller connects to your PC via USB and offers a drivers-free plug'n'play experience.

The joystick launches with the claim that it will work with "virtually any emulator", as well as any game that can use a standard gamepad controller.

Up to four classic joysticks can be connected to the same PC for an authentic retro home-arcade multi-player experience.

The USB classic controller is on pre-order now for £19.99.
