IOGEAR has announced the availability of its USB Laptop KVM (keyboard, video and mouse) Switch with file transfer in the UK through SVP.co.uk.

The Laptop KVM Switch connects two computers via USB 2.0 ports, and is said to be the first of its kind to give the user the ability to securely transfer files between systems without the need for software or programme installations.

With plug 'n' play technology, users can connect a primary desktop, laptop or netbook PC to a secondary desktop, laptop or netbook, allowing the primary machine full access to the secondary computer's KVM and desktop.

IOGEAR sees netbook owners as a big target market for the file transferring solution, and the switch works with Windows 2000, XP and Vista operating systems.

The USB Laptop KVM Switch is available now for £69.95.
