Virgin Media has announced the launch of its new range of pay monthly tariffs with the claim that they'll shake up the mobile market.

Available from 28 May, Virgin Media's new pay monthly range includes what it's boasting is a "market beating" £18 handset tariff over 18 months, that is said to undercut competitors by £2 per month and offer a "stronger" bundle.

A new £25 tariff is also being launched with an inclusive offer of unlimited web browsing, with this 18-month contract also said to be a "market beating" bundle in this price bracket.

Virgin Media customers with a broadband, TV or landline service also get inclusive Virgin mobile to Virgin mobile calls when they choose any 18 month contract or SIM only tariff.

Tariffs start from £8.50 a month, up to £35 and offer a variety of minutes, texts and mobile internet with more info at www.virginmedia.com.
