LaCie has announced three new lines of mobile and desktop hard drive bags - LaCie Cover, LaCie Coat and LaCie Cozy, all designed by industrial designer Sam Hecht. The range offers varying levels of protection. The Cover comes in at the lightweight end aimed mainly at keeping your drive scratch-free and gets an inside pocket for cables and the like.
The LaCie Coat, with hidden pocket, offers a "chic padded bubble pattern", complete with reversible design with the inside bit made of suede fabric.
LaCie says users can "customise at their leisure by simply turning the bag inside out, while getting the same level of hard drive protection".
"Robust" protection comes in with the LaCie Cozy (two pockets) with its sturdy outer layer made of EVA, a soft inner lining and memory foam to protect hard drives from shocks and jolts.
The LaCie Cover, Coat, and Cozy come in various colours and sizes and are priced from £9.90 for the littlest. Hardware, Storage, Cases, LaCie, Bags, Sam Hecht
