JVC has launched a new monitor in the States that it grandly claims establishes "a new category in flat panel TV design", aimed at digital SLR users.
The Xiview LT-42WX70 is a 42-inch 120Hz 1080p display and offers JVC's GENESSA Picture Engine, three HDMI CEC terminals, D-Sub 15pin with component video, and an audio input jack.
The new "super slim" LCD TV monitor claims to feature a colour space "that is wider than a typical HDTV's". It also boasts a coverage rate of 96% for Adobe RGB as well as 52 picture-quality adjustment properties, for tweaking both still and video images source-by-source to what's said to be the exact colours and tones the user prefers.
Complete with remote control and with a back panel that's metallic silver without any visible screws or vents, so angled as a good option for placement where the back of the monitor will be in view, the JVC LT-42WX70 is available now and is priced at $2399.95.
