K-box turns your table into one big speaker

Kerchoonz.com has unveiled a new product - the K-box. It's an iPhone-sized device which uses "gel audio technology" to turn any surface that it's placed on into a speaker.

The manufacturers claim that the bass sound produced by the device is "guaranteed to deafen your neighbours", so watch out for that one. Battery life is rated at 20 hours and it recharges via USB.

The K-box costs £40, and it's available now.
