After changing the handsets name from the Omnia HD to the less-catchy i8910 HD last month, it seems that Samsung is finally ready to unleash its latest handset on the UK market.
Orange will be the first UK network to sell the phone, which features the first 720p HD video camera in a mobile handset. Samsung claims it's also got the world's largest AMOLED screen on a mobile phone - that would be 3.7 inches.
8GB of internal memory is paired up with an 8-megapixel camera, and there's various snazzy camera features like autofocus, smile shot and face detection. An FM radio and MP3 player are also included, as are GPS, a compass, an accelerometer, Wi-Fi and support for high capacity MicroSD cards.
Orange will let you have the handset for free, if you're prepared to pay them £40 a month for 24 months on a contract. That'll get you 1200 minutes and unlimited texts too.
Are you tempted? Or are you saving yourself for one of the others in the bevy of high-end smartphones due over the next couple of months? Let us know in the comments.
