Daily Tech Deal: Marks and Spencer's Penny Bazaar

Money saving deals, offers and innovations

20 May 2009 13:00 GMT / By Ben Crompton

Today's tech deal sees 2 million items being sold for just 1 pence each.

Marks and Spencer is holding a "penny bazaar" in 300 of its main stores to celebrate the 125 years that it's been around.

With items including jewellery, knickers, beach balls and socks - and for our sake hopefully a bit of cut-price consumer technology - the store is said to be drafting in extra security to prevent a crush.

The bazaar will be held for 3 days starting from the 20 May, with shoppers limited to five items each.

No link, but a phone call to your local M&S will should enable you to find out whether they are participating.
