Voice-over-IP company Vopium has announced that its application will henceforth be available in the Android Market. The software is already available on the iPhone App Store and via RIM's BlackBerry App World.Vopium, once downloaded, integrates with the phone's address book, whilst any international numbers are re-routed via Vopium. The company promises that "all international calls are made using the cheapest method available while also preserving the highest level of call quality".
Users who download Vopium and register it get 30 minutes of calls and 30 text messages free. Like rival service Skype, Vopium users can make calls to each other via Wi-Fi for no cost. Software, Phones, Mobile phones, Android, Android Market, Vopium, Skype
