Vodafone offers "Contact Keeper" Facebook app

Hurrah for no more "numbers please" groups

Vodafone, perhaps as bored as the rest of us with "numbers please" groups and messages on Facebook, has launched a solution to help such unlucky Brits suddenly sans mobile.

With 1 in 3 of us having lost, damaged or broken our phone - and with it our contact numbers - the operator is now offering the "Contact Keeper".

This new Vodafone application on Facebook claims to let you quickly and easily back up and securely store your contact information on the social networking site.

Vodafone says this "saves panicking when you lose your phone". Available to all Facebook users and Vodafone customers, Contact Keeper can be installed via http://apps.facebook.com/contactkeeper.
