Popular music game Guitar Hero could form the basis for a new reality talent TV show, it's been revealed.Milking the franchise for all it's worth before people get fed up of pretend guitar playing on a plastic instrument, "people familiar with the discussions" say Activision aims to turn the game into TV and film properties, as well as planning a possible "real-life concert tour".
Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick wouldn't comment to Reuters on the movie speculation, but when asked about Guitar Hero's other potential, said: "It might make for a good TV show or a good concert tour".
In addition, rumours suggest Activision is currently in discussions to turn "World of Warcraft" and "Call of Duty" into movies. Gaming, Music games, Activision, Home Cinema, Guitar Hero
