Nokia E52 smartphone announced

6 May 2009 14:39 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Details are a little thin on the ground, but Nokia has announced the launch of a new smartphone in the form of the Nokia E52.

Described as "voice optimised", the slimline handset is said to fit easily into your pocket.

Nokia is claiming an "impressive" battery life that "means you can sit on single call for an eight hour business day without plugging in the charger".

There's also email, along with A-GPS, 3.2-megapixel camera, noise cancellation and Ovi services.

The Nokia E52 is said to be expected to start sales in the second half of 2009 at an estimated pre-tax retail price of 245 euros.
