Google is stepping up its efforts in the browser battles with the recent release of mini-movies about its Chrome offering.

Via Google-owned YouTube, the online giant has issued 11 new "shorts" promoting Chrome in a slightly off-beat way, under the tag-line "a new way to get online".

Although stats differ, the company's Chrome browser currently gets around 1.5% market share, so could do with some shine to try and catch up with the big boys.

The videos are available to view now, and will also be featured on YouTube over the coming weeks.
