We used to get excited about being able to access the Internet at speeds up to 512Kbps, but Bulldog, is the latest ISP in the UK to announce that it will be offering connection speeds up to 20Mbps in the UK later this year.

The company has started conducting a national ADSL2+ broadband trial following its initial trails last year.

Bulldog is one of the first ISPs to publicise such an extensive national ADSL2+ trials and shows that as consumers internet access in the UK is only likely to get faster.

Following a full evaluation of the trials, Bulldog hopes to launch the ADSL2+ service commercially by the end of March 2006.
