• The biggest incentive for Apple to do a macnetbook is to encourage the spread and acceptance of mac o.s. They'll make little money or even a loss on the hardware, but if more mac. virgins take to it as a cheap companion to their iPod, they may well be eager to buy their next main computer or laptop from Jobs and co.
