We first heard about the 10.1-inch Acer Aspire One back in January 2009, and later learnt that it would be called the D250.

Amongst the piles of new UK models at yesterday's London launch, we got our hands on the svelte netbook and grabbed a few shots.

The netbook will come with a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 LED-backlit LCD display, be powered by an Intel Atom processor backed by up to 2GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive.

All the normal connectivity options will be present, including 3G. The trackpad also supports Acer's multitouch control.

It can be yours for around £350 depending on your options, available now, in a choice of colours.
