LG has announced the UK launch of new "digital TV monitors", the M7WD series.

Said to be inspired by LG's high-end TVs, LG says the range's "curvaceous shape and slim silhouette is complemented by the company's signature style red-coloured back".

Offering 1920 x 1080 resolution and 20,000:1 digital fine contrast ratio, the M7WD range has 3 Watt built-in speakers along with "numerous" connection ports, including SCART, DVI and HDMI.

There's also 5ms response time, brightness of 300 nits and a 170 degree viewing angle.

Available in two screen sizes, 19-inches and 22-inches, the M7WD series is in store now nationwide with the 22-incher coming in at around the £200 mark.
