Samsung has launched the Samsung Tocco "Lite" in the UK, the latest addition to the Tocco family and one that perhaps takes into account the current economic situation.Samsung says the GPRS/EDGE Tocco Lite has "enhanced social media features" and great style for "an ultra competitive mid-range price".
Those enhanced social media features include online widgets for the likes of Facebook and MySpace as well as YouTube access with one press of the handset's 3-inch touchscreen.
Users can also "tag" photos of their contacts on the device, as well as upload their shots to their own social networking sites.
The new phone gets a 3.2-megapixel camera with smile and face detection, MicroSD (up to 8GB), an FM radio and Samsung DNSe 2.0 music tech as well as the TouchWiz UI and an accelerometer.
The Samsung Tocco Lite is set to go on sale in UK stores mid May, with no operator or pricing info revealed. Phones, Mobile phones, Samsung
