Dell has announced the availability of a new "premier" desktop PC, the Studio XPS 435.

With a "bold" design and expandability options, Dell claims an "outstanding" price for the new system "when compared to most other 'prosumer' performance systems".

Featuring Intel Core i7 processors with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, the Studio XPS 435 gets up to 24GB DDR3 memory, performance graphics up to ATI Radeon HD4870 1GB GDDR5 graphics and a 475W power supply.

There's also three hard drive bays capable of up to 4.5TB of storage and dual optical options.

Other specs, or options, include three angled USB ports, 15-in-1 media card reader; built-in infrared receiver and a Blu-Ray drive.

Looks-wise, the new PC offers a "tilt design" with a pure white and translucent black bezel accented with an orange trim.

The Studio XPS 435 is available now with a starting price of £1699.

  • The system is tilted back somewhat so you can easily reach buttons, ports, and slots when the tower is on the floor under your desk. This system's quad-core processor, 6GB of DDR3 SDRAM, and 1GB ATI Radeon HD 4870 graphics card make it a capable choice for both multimedia and 3D gaming. Although there's lots of room inside for upgrades, the 435's motherboard supports only one graphics card. Posted by KwaxKwax, Indonesia
