Under £50

Orange has introduced the "Vegas", claiming it's the smallest, lightest and cheapest touchscreen mobile available in the UK.

Priced at £48.50 for pay as you go customers, the handset is available in black and exclusive to Orange in pink.

The only specs we have for the own-branded device is that the Vegas gets a 2.4-inch screen, a 1.3-megapixel camera, MP3 and media player capability as well as a built-in FM radio.

The Vegas comes with an in-built memory of 128MB and a microSD card slot that supports a data capacity of up to 4GB.

Orange is angling the phone to go with its Dolphin package - if customers top-up by £10 on Orange pay as you go Dolphin, they'll get 300 free texts, £10 credit to spend however they want plus free access to Bebo, Facebook and MySpace.

Available now, it's also on offer to pay monthly customers.
