Toshiba has announced a new update to its netbook range on Wednesday and Pocket-lint was on hand to grab a hands on with the new model.

Replacing the NB100, the new NB200 or UX100, as it will be known in the US, offers heaps of style alongside a Intel Atom processor, 10-inch screen and 160GB hard drive complete with a 3D motion sensor so if dropped it is unlikely to break.

Prices are from £319 for a 3-cell battery version or £369 for the 6-cell battery version, the larger battery version promises to last up to 9 hours on a single charge.

Road warriors take note, Toshiba is hoping to release a 3G version later in the year.

The NB200 is expected to hit the shops in May.
