Verbatim has announced its 32GB class 6 SDHC memory card has gone on sale in the UK.

Claiming "real-time" recording directly to the card with a guaranteed minimum write and read speed of 6MB/sec, the card is aimed at professional photographers.

Verbatim boasts space for over 10,000 10-megapixel JPEG images or 4 hours of video recorded in maximum resolution from an HD camcorder.

"With this card Verbatim is extending its flash range to meet the growing demand for storage cards with large capacities and short transfer times", says Hans Christoph Kaiser, business development manager flash and USB memory Verbatim.

Verbatim's new 32GB SDHC card is now available for £74.99.
